Latest Samsung Phone leaks | Galaxy Note 8

Samsung Galaxy Note 8

Just a few months after the release of its Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ which is still rocking the smartphone market, Samsung is set to unveil another breathtaking smartphone - Galaxy Note 8. Just like the Galaxy S series, the Galaxy Note series is one of the highly rated smartphones in the smartphone industry.

Samsung has always been known for its quality Smartphone but the unexpected happened when the Galaxy Note 7 had issues with exploding batteries but the release of the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ saved the company's name from going down and the Galaxy Note 8 is expected to further restore its Glory.

There have been some leaks and rumors about the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 which is expected to be released before August runs out and due to the leaks and rumors, Samsung fans are having high expectations as the Galaxy Note 8 is expected to debut a number of features that will make it one of the best smartphones in 2017.

Let's take a Review on the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 features:

Build and Design

Considering Samsung's previous Smartphones and its stunning design, we wouldn't expect less for the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. It has one of the best builds and design by Samsung including a curved edge screen and no physical home button (which was first experimented in the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ that led to the fingerprint sensor being placed at the back).

Apart from the curved edge screen and no physical home button, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 features a 6.3-inch Super AMOLED screen with 2K resolution, an 18.5:9 aspect ratio and an overall design with slightly sharper angles than the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+.

One of the complaints about the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ is the fingerprint reader being too close to the camera which causes finger grease on the camera lens after making use of the fingerprint scanner.

Fans were expecting the Note 8 fingerprint reader to be located elsewhere like integrating it in the display but Samsung failed to do that and we'll be seeing the same thing as in the Galaxy S8 and S8+ but this time the fingerprint reader is distanced from the camera lens with the flash led in the middle.

As usual for the Galaxy note series, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 comes with S Pen that allows you write and draw naturally just like with a pen or pencil and interact with your phone without leaving fingerprints on the screen.

Camera

For the Galaxy Note 8 camera, we are seeing something new in Samsung history. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be Samsung’s first Smartphone to feature a dual camera. Sounds interesting right? Of course.

A lot of smartphones from other manufacturers now features dual cameras which have been warmly welcomed by users. Now that Samsung has decided to join the team and produce a dual camera smartphone and knowing Samsung's Camera prowess, we would sure keep our hopes high on this one.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 would feature a 12MP dual camera and 8MP front camera. Although there have been no details on the front camera, it's sure gonna be great. The rear camera features a 3X optical zoom and yes it is the phablet you need.

Battery

Series of leaks have shown that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is going to have a 3,300mAh inbuilt battery but definitely not a fire catching one. I'm sure Samsung will not want it's Note 8 to bring another setback like the Note 7 otherwise we may hear something like Galaxy Note Series has been discontinued.

Storage and Memory

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has two versions, one of 64GB ROM and the other of 128GB ROM but both have 6GB RAM. Also, supports external SD up to 256GB

Smartphones are widely and extensively used so speed and storage must not be a limiting factor to users, therefore, smartphone producers are making sure to produce smartphones of high speed and storage. With the Samsung Galaxy Note 8's 6GB RAM, maximum speed is guaranteed.

Network and Sensors

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 features a 4G LTE network for fast speed. Sensors include iris scanner, fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, barometer, heart rate, and SpO2.

Price and Release Date

Not yet official but it is going to be Samsung’s most expensive smartphone at a range of $1000 - $1100 which is about $250 higher than Galaxy S8. A bit high but with all the expected features, it's worth it.

To be officially launched on 23 of August 2017
